Psych!
Boys and girls, 'cab' does not mean 'faster'. I'm waiting outside a clinic room now for an extended prescription because i arrived at one for a twelve-twenty appointment. I know. That's horribly late. But i had to take my grandfather for a CT scan in the morning, and that appointment was only made yesterday. I stood for twenty minutes along Geylang Road, unable to get a cab to save my life, and when a white Mercedes does arrive, there's a jam everywhere. The icing on the cake is that while my doctor refuses to see me now, he's only now seeing a patient that arrived at twelve twenty. What's the point of enforcing your punctuality when you're not punctual, either? I'm probably going to be the last patient he sees today, which should be just great.
